 The Family Behind Bebe Wamu
Jodi, Dave, Sam, Mike, James and Jack
My first son, Michael, was born in 1995. I was using a traditional diaper service until they went out of business shortly after he turned 1 1/2. I couldn't find any other service or store that carried cloth diapers at the time- so we had no choice but to use Pampers. My sweet little boy ended up with a very irritated bottom and a rash we could not clear up. Luckily this resolved when he potty trained.
I met my husband Dave in 2002 and gained 2 wonderful step-children, Samantha and James. In 2007 we were blessed with a beautiful baby boy, Jack. And so started my quest for cloth diapers.
After looking for a local store (that was a job in itself) I finally found one. I was so happy to find someone who understood what I was looking for and so happy to help. This planted the cloth diapering seed. In June 2008, I came across Bebe Wamu and its owner Casey Cecile. Another great woman in the cloth diapering world! Casey welcomed me into the cloth diapering world with open arms. I started Cotton Buns Cloth Diapers in October 2008. On April 19, 2009 we purchased Bebe Wamu and are pleased to welcome their clients and look forward to serving you!
