Questions
I have a question, when can I call? TOP Anytime. We offer 24 hr customer service. Even I have to sleep sometimes- but please leave a message if I don't answer and I will return your call as soon as possible. (after midnight, if I don't answer, please let me know if its ok to call you back at that late hour) How is your diaper service different from others? TOP
1. Quality- High quality products that are clean, safe, durable, and healthy to use. We have personally tested all our products on our own children to make sure they meet our high standards. We use the same products you do every day. If we won't use them we wouldn't expect you to. All our items are treated as if they were for our own children. Our products come from some of the biggest cloth diaper names in the industry.
2. Natural laundering- bio-degradeable laundering agents, no animal testing, no animal cruelty. We can also custom blend detergent for your baby if they have specific allergies.
3. Individual laundering- we wash each baby's diapers seperate. This allows you to send us the diapers you own for washing (for FREE) and not have to worry they are going to get lost. We can also customize your diapers to match your nursery or baby's gender. We currently have 8 colors to choose from (they are a fiber-reactive dye, become a part of the fabric and will not bleed or turn your lil ones bum colors- plus they are safe). You only get your baby's diapers back, you have your own private stash that is only for your baby.
4. Options- We currently offer 6 packages to choose from. Our all-inclusive "Jack-N-Jill", everything you need to cloth diaper with nothing extra to buy to our "Just Ducky" which is just diapers. We also offer laundering services for diapers you already own: a pick-up/delivery option and drop-off same day service.
5. Identity- Each client has a tag that is only for them. This allows us to track your diapers through the washing, drying, folding, and delivery/pick-up process. It stays with your diapers at all times. As soon as we come to pick up your dirty diapers, we place the tag right on your wetbag- even before it leaves your property. This is also true for our clients who own their diapers but send them to us for washing.
6. Love- I love what I do. I love seeing healthy children, happy families, and making a difference in the lives of families. Cloth diapering empowers our moms and dads by giving them a choice. I am available 24 hrs a day to help you in your cloth diapering journey. I can come to you- in your home or even at the hospital anytime day or night. I strive to make cloth diapers easy and fun with the highest in customer service.
I can't find a diaper service in my area, help! TOP
We will do our best to try to locate a diaper service or store in your area. We have many friends who run diaper services in the USA who we can refer you to.
We are working on a listing for diaper services right here in Western and Central NY and hope to have it out in a few weeks or so. Aren't cloth diapers hard to use? TOP Nope. Gone are the days of pins and rubber pants, dunking and soaking. Now we have diapers that close with velcro or snaps. Snappi's instead of pins. Beautifully colored velcro or snap closure covers. Yes, we still carry pins and vinyl pants for our "hardcore" moms. Using cloth diapers is easy, changes are easy, and washing is easy. Really. We are here to support you 24 hrs a day. Are cloth diapers hard to wash? TOP No, not at all. As moms we are doing laundry anyway. A cold rinse, hot wash, cold rinse, and then into the dryer. Really thats pretty much it. I'm having a problem with my diapers. What do I do? TOP
There are a few things that can go wrong. Please call us anytime at (716)578-2418 and we will deal with your specific problem and help you get it resolved.
Even if you didn't buy your diapers from us, we will still help you. What do I do with my dirty diapers while I'm out? TOP Just place them in a wetbag and bring them home. (we told you it was going to be easy) Ok, so what about pins and rubber pants? TOP OUCH! We use a Snappi instead of pins and velcro closure covers in many beautiful colors. There are also fleece and wool covers too! But, if you are a "hardcore" mom you can still choose pins and vinyl pants. I didn't buy my diaper from you, can you answer my questions? TOP Yes. We support ALL cloth diapering families, no matter where you bought your diapers. All questions are welcome. Do you offer lay-a-way? TOP Yes, we offer lay-a-way. 25% down and 25% of the remaining balance due every 2 weeks until the balance is paid in full. If you need different terms, please call us, we are willing to work with you to cloth diaper you child. You order will be placed in a secure box and marked with your last name (your address and other personal information is placed in our safe to protect your privacy). We keep track of your payments as you make them, and a few weeks later you have your stash of diapers! There are no lay-a-way fees, no charge for paying off early, and we can extend the amount of time if you need it. You don't carry the diapers I'm looking for. Why and where can I find them? TOP
As much as I would like to try to carry everything that is out there, I just don't have the resources to do so- space, man-power, etc. There are hundreds if not thousands of different cloth diapering products on the market today. As a family owned business we have only so many hours in a day. My focus has always been on your family and mine. I want to be able to continue the same personal services that my customers have come to expect from me, be available when you need me- day or night, all while being a wife and mother.
I will always refer you to someone who carries the product you are looking for if I don't carry that particular brand or style. We have many friends in the cloth diapering industry who are always willing to help. What forms of payment do you take? TOP We take Visa, MasterCard, Discover, check, cash, paypal, money order, and cashiers checks. You can pay online or call us personally if you are uncomforable putting in your information online. How did you get into cloth diapering? TOP
As a teenage mom, I couldn't afford much of anything. My grandmother gave me the gift of diaper service for my son (now 14). It was nice not to have to worry about running out of diapers or having to worry about the huge weekly expense of disposables. Even after her gift ran out, I continued the diaper service. I didn't have to wash the diapers, just put them out for pick-up.
In 2006 I was expecting my second child and was looking for a service, but there were none left. I did find two wonderful women who ran retail stores that catered to natural parenting and sold cloth diapers. The washing wasn't hard at all and I just ate up all I could find about living a more natural and healthy life. It was because of their love and belief in their products and they way they interacted with me and my family, that I knew this was the path for me.
I started out as a franchise of another company (which I later aquired). I saw such a need in our communities for other natural options that I decided to start Cotton Buns. We grew so much faster than I ever expected leading to the purchase of Bebe Wamu, based out of Syracuse, NY. The companies were merged and here we are. I could not have done this with out the support of family, friends, and most of all you, our customers.
I will always be the one who answers your email or phone calls. It is very important to me to make sure that there is always someone there when you need it- day or night. As a mom of 4 (I have 2 step-children too) children never stop and we don't either. There are times when you just need to have something answered NOW. I was once a "first time" mom too. Remember looking into the crib every 2 seconds to make sure everything was ok? Or hearing your baby make a noise and looking again? I had tons of questions. I understand "mommy-noia". Its okay to call me anytime, really. I'm here if you need me.
*Thanks Dawn for the question*
